So my first long weekend back at home draws to a close, and I have to say I feel quite settled. I never thought I would be able to say those words 13 weeks ago or even a few weeks ago. Life is getting a little easier and my mind is a bit clearer. I can now see that Sam would want me to move back and move on, permanent or temporary, Sam would be happy that I'm back for now. The house plants are still going thanks to the help from the OB! The flowers are still outside in the planters. The solar lights still shine and the clock still ticks away without the hands falling off! I cooked a roast for one (it was for two really) on Sunday, tried to eat for two but failed! Had a big wobble at one point but these wobbles get easier somehow. Instead of feeling sad afterwards I now feel hopeful.
